We initially met Cherry & Jason over Skype during one of our online videography consultations. We learned they had been together since October 8, 2006 and were engaged 4 years later to the day, of course with the help of a ‘magic’ 8-ball during Jason’s proposal to Cherry! Six years later, they were excited to finally be getting married! As we made our way from Toronto to meet Cherry & Jason that morning, we noticed they were blessed with beautiful weather in as they started getting ready at Staybridge Suites. Surrounded by the love of family and friends, both the Bride and Groom were in great spirits and ready to say those magical words “I do!” As Cherry walked down the aisle of Merciful Reedemer Catholic Church with her parents, Jason had his breath taken away by his beautiful bride. It’s always interesting to witness traditional elements during weddings such as the Filipino coin exchange, cord and veil ceremonies. It really illustrated how they were meant to be together make a bound by a pledge to be there for each other for the rest of their lives! Afterwards, the couple was whisked away to Shell Park in Oakville for their first photos as newlyweds. You could easily see by the looks on their faces that were so in love and surely meant to spend the rest of their lives together. The beautifully decorated reception took place at the Oakville Conference Centre. Filled with all their family and friends from home and abroad, the rest of the evening was filled with a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all in attendance....

Nicole & Daniel initially got in touch with us about our videography services through one of our previous clients! It’s always a pleasure to work with friends of other happy couples we have served over the years. Although the day started with rain, we reassured Nicole & Daniel that the rain is a symbol of good luck and surely wouldn’t last long! Both bride & groom were lucky enough that the rain only happened in the morning and the remainder of the day was as beautiful and sunny as you could ever hope for. With Daniel anxiously awaiting his bride at the top of the aisle, his breath was taken away seeing Nicole looking absolutely stunning in her wedding dress as she walked down the aisle to be given away by her parents. When they finally gave her over to Daniel, everyone was quite emotional as she was no longer just her parents’ daughter but soon to become her fiancee’s wife. The ceremony at Cristo Rei Parish Roman Catholic Church was very touching and having been there so many times before for previous Client’s weddings…it felt like home, especially when Father Carlos Macatangga conducts the ceremony with his usual passion and warm sense of humor. Shortly after, the newlyweds were whisked off to Gairloch Gardens in Oakville, where it felt like a whole other world with its beautiful gardens and vistas that were simply breathtaking to look at. Afterwards, the reception took place at Mississauga Convention Centre with very stylish decor and a beautiful wedding cake made by none other than Nicole’s mom. What a fantastic job she did!...

It was such a delight to have met Ida and Jovan, who were referred by Angie Choi from Eyekahfoto! Ida, who works in the television industry, knew that she could trust us, LaPointe Productions, to do the job well! She mentioned during the initial consultation that she was able to recognize the professionalism and expertise that we put in our services by viewing our on-line work and acknowledged that cinematography/videography was an important part of the documentation of her big day with Jovan. Fast forward to the day of Ida and Jovan’s summer wedding, we were very impressed with their choice of venue as we drove to Peter and Paul’s The Manor, which was very lush and stunning to see. We finally got to see Ida as she was getting ready for her big day! Once she put on her wedding dress and slipped on her shoes, we knew that she was ready to say “I do!” with her big smile on her face! As for Jovan, we knew that he was filled with anticipation and very excited for their first look! When Ida and Jovan saw each other for the first time, there was tears of happiness coming from both, especially Jovan, who couldn’t keep his eyes off his bride-to-be. From that moment, both really wanted to start this new chapter of their lives together. Their outdoor ceremony was just beautiful! Once again, Enduring Promises who officiated their wedding, did an awesome job. The reception was filled with emotion and lots of dancing all throughout the evening, you couldn’t stop either side of the family from hitting up...

Sometimes, all it takes is a single moment to change the course of our lives, Roxanne and Marvin are no strangers to this. Having initially met in school 6 years prior when Roxanne turned around in class to ask to join Marvin’s group for a project, little did they know that it would be the beginning of something much greater. They were truly blessed to have amazing weather for their fall December wedding with the backdrop of the Toronto skyline providing an absolutely picturesque setting for the day. After getting ready in the morning at the stunning Thompson Hotel, they were whisked off to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for the big moment. With the groom taking in a deep breath as his bride to be walked down the aisle with her parents, they were all set to finally become one in front of their beloved family and friends. It’s always special to see couples share in their cultural traditions such as the Filipino custom of the cord and veil, their sponsors seemed to take great pride in sharing the ceremony with Roxanne and Marvin. After their vows to each other we returned to the Thompson rooftop to capture them as husband and wife. Truly happy and clearly in love with each other, we couldn’t ask for a better backdrop to show off the newlyweds as the sun set on the city. We initially were introduced to Leanna and Anthony as a referred client from Lillian and Adam, who we provided Cinematography services to the year before. High School sweethearts Leanna and Anthony, had been together for 11 years before Anthony finally proposed on Halloween of 2013, so it was only fitting that their wedding day took place on the very same day 2 years later! It was a perfectly crisp fall day for their wedding and there was a wonderful sense of love and family support in the air among the autumn background. Couples often exchange gifts on their wedding day but we were really impressed with Anthony’s gift to Leanna of a customized perfume and original box to match. What a unique way to show your love for your partner! With baited breath, the Groom awaited his wife to be at St. Francis De Sales Church in Ajax. In the video, you could really see his expression of disbelief that this long awaited moment had finally arrived. Seeing his beautiful Bride for the first time, he greeted Leanna and her parents at the top of the aisle with a kiss on the cheek for her Mother and a hearty chest bump for her Dad! After their first kiss as Husband and Wife, they were whisked off to Kortright Centre for their wedding party photos.
