Having originally met Michelle and Hoang at a wedding show, we felt honoured to have made such a lasting initial impression with our cinematography to now be able to capture Michelle & Hoang’s wedding day! After their 8 years together, their wedding day arrived with some anticipation and a little bit of nerves as Michelle and Hoang finally saw each other for the last time before becoming husband and wife. Michelle walked with her parents down the aisle in Prince of Peace Church and you could really see how emotional this life changing moment was for them both. Truly moving for all in attendance as well as the Bride & Groom! Both Michelle & Hoang wrote their own original vows and it was clear to everyone they meant every single word of their dedication and love for each other. After their first kiss as husband and wife, off they went to Edwards Gardens for their first photos as a newlyweds amongst the beautiful fall colours. You really couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful backdrop to capture the happy couple. Their reception took place at the stunning Liberty Grand and when the happy couple entered into the hall for the first time as man and wife they were greeted with all the love and support of their many family and friends. To honour Hoang’s family traditions they first had a traditional tea ceremony and then followed by the ceremonial dragon dancers to bring luck and prosperity and much love for the future of Michelle & Hoang! We initially met Noha & Nadeem via Skype to discuss their wedding day and it was clear to see their love for each other! When the big day arrived, the atmosphere was filled with love and support from both sides of the family, setting the tone for their wedding ceremony and reception. As Nadeem waited patiently for Noha to come down for their “first lookâ€â€¦you could really tell that both were anticipating for this huge reveal! It’s always a unique moment capturing a couple’s first look, two people in a stage of such natural emotion, on the verge of becoming husband and wife. Soon after the couple went off to take photos with the wedding party around the historical Yorkville area and then, in front of the Royal Ontario Museum. All along the way to the ROM, the Bride & Groom were complimented by dozens of people passing by…and why not, they looked stunning! Then, it was off to the Scarborough Jamat Khane for the official wedding ceremony. After some beautiful words read from the Quran and rings placed on the hands of the bride and groom by the Officiant, both families erupted in applause and you could see how much support and love there was in the room for the newlyweds. After taking photos with family and friends, the couple were whisked away to Supreme Banquet hall where they entered to a packed hall following the Zaffa which is a traditional Egyptian wedding precession filled with music and dancing…quite a beautiful sight to behold. We initially met Rachel and Clive over Skype for the very first time to discuss their wedding day and even without meeting them both in person we could really feel their great energy and love for each other. Finally, their big day had approached and the mood that day was just magical as the snow gently blanketed Toronto in the crisp November air. Stepping into the Atlantis, we absolutely knew that Rachel and Clive had the perfect backdrop of the Toronto skyline and waterfront for their wedding ceremony and reception! With anticipation in the air, they waited for that special moment to see each other for the first time as Bride and Groom with their family as witness. It’s always special capturing a first look, two people in an honest moment, on the verge of becoming something greater together… Jim Emerson from Enduring Promises presided over the ceremony and we felt compelled to use his powerful words to start this highlight reel. He said “Marriage is one of the most courageous human acts…the promise of two people sharing life together, on all levels…”. We couldn’t agree more, as it was clear to see the courage Rachel & Clive had reading their heartfelt written vows to each other. They both did a wonderful job! Relationships often start with a ‘spark’ so it was quite fitting to cap the first day of the rest of their lives together with a firework waterfall cascading outside the glass wall of the Atlantis’ Grand Metropolitan ballroom during their first dance as Husband and Wife!  It was left as a surprise for those in attendance...

Meeting Jessica and Domenic was such a delight at their initial consultation! With everyone in high spirits that morning (even Doug the dog!), the stage was set for a beautiful autumn day to be married! Their wedding ceremony took place at St. Paul the Apostle Church in front of family and friends sharing all their love and support for the couple. As always, we believe that capturing the groom’s first reaction to the bride is one of the best moments of the day! Domenic was very emotional as Jessica walked down the aisle with her mother…she looked absolutely gorgeous from head to toe! After the vows were exchanged, we headed off to High Park for photos with family and friends along with a quick stop in the fashion district of downtown Toronto. Jessica and Domenic really wanted some vibrant colours and creative imagery as a backdrop to their photos + video, so dropping by Graffiti Alley would be the best place to be (located just south of Queen Street West near Bathurst Street)! As the sun was slowly setting, we made our way to the beautifully staged reception at the Red Rose Convention Centre in Mississauga. With the ambience set for the first dance, it looked like Jessica and Domenic were dancing on a cloud (literally!). As the fog machine filled the floor, all you could focus on was the happy couple and all they could focus on was each other! We wish Jessica and Domenic all the best in a happy and loving marriage together...

One of the most interesting moments for us on a wedding shoot is when the bride and groom see each other for the very first time on their big day. It was truly evident that Alisa & Tyler’s nerves were washed away, once they locked eyes as Alisa walked down the aisle and Tyler standing at the altar, eagerly wanting to hold onto Alisa’s hands. After the happy couple said “I DO!†in front of the congregation at Westdale United Church, they were off to their reception at the stunning Liuna Station, which was a 1930’s train station located in the heart of downtown Hamilton, Ontario.
