We met Tina & Charles two months prior to their big day…
It was all fun and games, as Charles and his groomsmen arrived at Tina’s sister’s place. The boys had to conquer a bunch of entertaining games in order for the groom-to-be to see his bride-to-be. Lisa from Beauty On The Grind did an amazing job on Tina’s hair and make-up, she looked absolutely stunning!!! Charles was speechless when he saw his beautiful bride-to-be for their first look and was anxiously awaiting to give Tina a kiss!
The traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony was awesome to capture, especially seeing the new and old generations taking part in this important moment. It’s meant for the bride/groom to kneel to their elders as they serve tea and receive gifts to express their gratitude and respect for them and to receive their blessings in return.
Afterwards, everyone headed to the Atlantis in downtown Toronto for Tina & Charles’ wedding ceremony. As for their exchange of vows, both combined just a little bit of humour and a touch of heartfelt emotion, which made every one laugh and perhaps tear up a little bit for good measure.
It was also great for us to finally meet Rinette of Enduring Promises…she made the room light up with her presence and did a stellar job officiating Tina & Charles’ wedding ceremony….and frankly we weren’t surprised!
The reception continued on at Atlantis where the guests were entertained throughout the evening while the bride and groom were made to play games to amuse the guests including our “Testimonial Booth†service where Tina & Charles’ friends and family were able to provide well wishes to them.
Overall, the day was memorable to say the least and we were very happy that Tina & Charles felt that capturing their special day through video would be an amazing way to relive their big day again and again for the rest of their lives and chose LaPointe Productions to be the ones to do it. We are truly honoured!
We wish them both Happiness, Joy & Love in their marriage!
